Having grown up in That Sleepy Little Town in the Desert, Yoni’s always had a keen ear for entertainment. Now he freelances for artists and studios all across the valley.

Yoni is an audio engineer, producer, composer and musician based in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has a broad range of experience recording and mixing all types of music and media productions, ranging from productions as small as a one man band to full symphony orchestras and jazz big bands throughout the Las Vegas Valley and all over the United States. He has recorded with artists such as Angelina Alexon, Eric Marienthal, John Pattituci, Bernie Dressell, Joshua Lawrence and the Boston Brass among others and has mixed music featuring all artists previously listed along with groups such as the Atlys String Quartet, Mitch Forman, and the UNLV Wind Orchestra. As a podcast engineer Yoni has worked with some of many modern day icons in sports journalism including Dave Schmulenson aka “The Schmo,” Shawn Porter, Chris Van Vliet, Nick Dias and David Meltzer.

Yoni is currently pursuing a BM in Jazz and Commercial Music Composition at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and works as an audio engineer for the Blue Wire Recording Studio at the Wynn Casino.

Yoni first began his musical education in 2012 studying with accomplished saxophonist Ben Kessler, founding member of the Austin Saxophone Ensemble and his older brother, over Skype and continued his studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in both classical and jazz saxophone having studied with Mark McCarthur, Shawna Pennock, Rick Keller and Adam Schroeder. As a saxophonist Yoni has performed with the UNLV Wind Orchestra, UNLV Jazz Ensemble 1, The Desert Winds, The 15 Big Band and has shared the stage with artists such as Eric Marienthal, John Pattituci, Mitch Forman, Bernie Dressell, Demondre Thurman, Joseph Alessi, Chris Castellanos, Laura Taylor and Angelina Alexon.
